A Quiet Walk at Sunset

This photograph was taken along the waterfront walkway of Yaletown, right beside False Creek.

I was walking quietly along the seawall as the sun was setting.

That exact moment.

The one you wish could last just a little longer.

A Perfect Balance

The golden light resting on the water, the boats standing still in the marina, and the city slowly fading into the evening — everything felt perfectly balanced.

The Thought of Sharing

It’s in moments like this that a simple thought appears.

You wish your favorite people were there with you.

To share that silence.
To share that view.
To share that feeling.

Presence and Anticipation

Moments like this always remind me of another reflection about being fully present in the moment, like in A Moment Before the Sail, where the anticipation and the present existed together in perfect harmony.

Staying Instead of Leaving

Because sometimes, it’s not about doing something.

It’s about staying.

Many times, I’ve had the thought of not leaving at all.

Of staying there the whole night, simply enjoying the calmness that the harbor offers.

Letting Time Pass

Listening to the quiet.
Watching the reflections.
Letting time pass without noticing it.

And maybe… that is what these places are truly about.
