Bounas.com explores sailing routes, harbor life, slow travel, and food culture across Greece, Canada, and coastal journeys around the world through photography and reflective storytelling.

This project grows from a personal way of moving through the world, shaped over time by the sailing and writing of Thanasis Bounas.

Some journeys unfold at sea through The Delicious Path,
where movement, shared meals, and time form a single narrative.
Others take root in place, such as Beautiful British Columbia,
where landscape is explored through light, food, and human presence.
And some return to the kitchen, through Katarina’s Recipes,
where memory and season shape both recipes and stories.
This project brings together sailing, travel, and food into a single perspective, offering both practical context and a more personal experience of places.
If there is a direction here, it is simple:
to move without urgency
to eat without ceremony
